We are working towards the following aims:

  • To ensure Deaf people have equal access to all Health and Social Care services
  • For information from Health and Social Care services to be accessible in British Sign Language
  • To promote better understanding of Health issues within the Deaf community
  • To hold regular consultations with the Deaf community and to feedback to health and social care providers.


We meet every month to discuss how we can make progress in each of these areas and to plan our projects and engagement events.
